The foundation of an aesthetic physique is STRENGTH.
Aye, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder hence aesthetics is relative; But since you're coming to a dude that yells —BANG IRON MY BRUDDAH on a daily basis— I assume the aesthetic quality you're looking for is getting ABSOLUTELY FUCKING J-J-J-JACKED!
I gotchu fam, it's rather simple.
If you wanna get SHREDCITY with those AWESOME Golden Era Proportions that sport a nice V-Taper that makes you look like a house, you need to build THE FOUNDATION of that house, the foundation of an aesthetic physique is STRENGTH.
Up until the 80-90’s when a wide array of anabolic drugs started to allow people to fling around some light weights and still get bulbous gigantic 21” arms, almost EVERY SINGLE BODYBUILDER lifted heavy weights with real intent.
Intensity is the real key to aesthetics, especially, for a natural athlete.
You'll NEVER EVER find a dude that looks GREAT naturally while being weak, they will ALWAYS be extremely proficient in at least one domain of athleticism that requires forms of strength, be it lifting weights, calisthenics, or track.
Ideally, you should spend your first year focusing mainly on becoming proficient with those skills.
Treat yourself as the fucking war machine you were supposed to be in the first place, train every day like tomorrow it's the day you're going to battle for your life.
Get good at the basics of lifting, the BIG 4 LIFTS, squats, bench presses, deadlifts, and overhead presses.
Prioritize low repetitions from 4-6 and up to 3 full body workouts a week where you focus on those 4 lifts.
Master the basics of bodyweight training, the pushup, pull up and dips.
Do some bodyweight training as often as you can recover without intefering with your training with the BIG 4, and do as many repetitions as you can for 3-5 sets in each movement.
Learn to sprint, run, and jog.
If you squatted or deadlifted, jog for 45-60min or rest, if you're particularly beaten up, jog for 45-60min or rest, if you're feeling fresh then either do a nice 30min run or do some 15min of HIIT with either sprints or anything involving a STEEP hill.
And after all that work, each and every day, to make sure you'll survive that shit, fuel the machine with the best food you can find, and rest the machine with quality sleep to allow it to be prepared for the day ahead.
Training + nutrition + quality sleep.
THAT'S ALL IT TAKES.
It's rather simple, yet, it's HARD.
Not because the work is hard, the work gets easy, being disciplined with this shit becomes second nature after a while, the hard part is THE TIME FRAME.
It takes WAY MORE TIME THAN YOU THINK, to finally reach an impressive physique, so the only thing that you can really do is fall in love with the process of building it.
If you manage to pull that off my G, you're bound to succeed.
SO NO EXCUSES!
STAY ON THE IRON PATH!
