Wassup, MY BRUDDAHS!
On May 6th I'm celebrating the first full year that I'm actively publishing here on Substack, I ALMOST CAN’T BELIEVE IT, dudes, I’m so happy to be near that milestone that I have to pinch myself to see if I’m not dreaming.
With that, I'll finally be able to focus 100% on producing content 'cause hopefully, the annual subscriptions will start to renew and allow me to keep my bills in check without having to constantly be at 100mph doing wonky side-gigs and blasting emails berating people to subscribe/donate.
So, by May 6th the Founding Member Subscription option where you get a beautiful founding member badge, and my eternal gratitude, will not be available for new subscribers anymore— whoever got it, got it— I would like to issue a special thank you to each and every one of you that opted for it, you guys saved my ass from going fully broke and made a big difference in keeping my head straight and focused on pushing through the adversity that faced throughout this last year.
Thank you so much, MY BRUDDAHS— I'm prepping an exclusive post for you guys with exclusive ways to contact my flaky ass directly, and as things move forward I plan on creating some cool shit exclusive for you guys.
For those that are not founding members of this publication— you can get it by subscribing to this substack and typing any amount your heart desires above 30BUCKAROOS for a yearly subscription in the founding member category or upgrading your current subscription by adding at least $1 up until May 6th.
Bruh, it was A HELL OF A RIDE, but thanks to the overwhelming support that you guys sent my way we managed to push through.
With that extra time on my hands, I would like to know if you guys are interested in seeing some quick tips/random thoughts from me on Twitter/X?
In theory, things will be a hell of a lot easier moving forward, and I promise I'll do my best to be deserving of your generosity!
THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING HERE WITH ME!
Big KISS
THE POTATO MAN

Hey, good to hear that you finally think you can make this a career for you. Like David commented, you have a good ability to simplify certain scientific concepts that I think everyone can understand. You make a good mix of serious/deep posts, science based concepts from what I can tell by trying to read some of the same literature, and funny stuff. It would be a bit monotonous for you just to talk about deadlift and squats every day, but like I also understand the purpose along with progressive overload. I had some fears that you were gonna get your yearly subscribers and let quality go down. I feel you really improved over my time here. If my appreciation for helping me doesn’t get to you before May 6th… something bad happened to me. Plus for whatever reason this space feels like a safe space to talk about whatever in the comments.
Happy to be a member with the ability to see more of your postings on Substack.
Has it been a year?? Thanks to the Potato man for the knowledge, the inspiration and the validation.
My workouts have become more comprehensive, more effective, and more enjoyable since I started reading you on Quora. Your approach is science based, relatable, open minded and entertaining.
